Duties and responsibilities

Assist overall exempt recruiting strategy

• Coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives
• Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
• Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
• Prepare and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc.
• Assist with identifying and recruiting candidates by utilizing full cycle recruiting techniques for exempt and skilled technical positions.
• Help to coach management on interviewing techniques and legal requirements.
• Ensure compliance with pre-employment screening process
• Provide coaching and consulting with all levels of team members including management to maximize performance and engagement
• Conduct new hire orientation
• Source and attract candidates by using databases, internet, social media etc.
• Screen candidates resumes and job applications
• Conduct interviews using various reliable personnel selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
• Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
• Study and apply HR recruiting best practices
• Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
• Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition.
• Develop working relationships within colleges to aid in recruiting.
• Give presentations at colleges, attend student group meetings, and increase college awareness of the company before and after career fairs.
• Assist in performing reference and background checks for potential employees.
• Assist in preparing and sending offer packages.
• Aid in public relations in establishing a recognizable employer of choice reputation for the company, both internally and externally.
• Provide day-to-day support in all functional areas of Human Resources in a production environment by complying with employments laws and company guidelines
• Perform other special projects as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Basic Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) skills
• Strong communications skills/ Including public speaking
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask
• English language competency and legible writing ability
• Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work with little to no oversight

Preferred Skills and Experience

· Experience in a manufacturing facility

· Bilingual

· Previous recruiting experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $42,000.00 per year
