The Service

Located in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, Tree House provides education and care for Stockland employees and the general community Monday to Friday between 7:30am – 6pm.

The service has a special interest in developing children’s appreciation for and connection with the natural environment and their understanding of sustainability issues. The educators strive to incorporate Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander cultural perspectives to their curriculum and look to these cultures as a model for sustainable practice and environmental respect.

The Role

We currently have a full time position available for an early childhood educator with a completed diploma qualification.

This position will see you working 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday on a rotating roster and accruing one monthly Rostered Day Off (RDO).

This is a parental leave contract until January 2024.

To be considered for this role, it is essential you have:

• Work rights to enable you to work in Australia
• A valid NSW Employee Working with Children Check
• A recognised Diploma level of qualification in Children’s Services or similar as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA)
• Child Protection training and knowledge of current legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
• A current First Aid certificate & Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management training
• Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF, Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
