KTS Engineering Group Hiring for Mechanical Engineer at Remote Full Time

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a background in Architecture to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer (Architecture), you will be responsible for designing and implementing mechanical systems and components in buildings, such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, to ensure that they operate efficiently and meet building code requirements. You will work closely with our architects, designers, and other engineers to create solutions that meet project specifications and requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components for buildings, such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ensure that mechanical systems are integrated with other building systems, such as architectural, structural, and electrical systems.
• Ensure that all mechanical designs and systems meet building code requirements and regulations.
• Develop detailed specifications and construction documents for mechanical systems.
• Work with project teams to ensure that mechanical systems meet project specifications and requirements.
• Review and evaluate mechanical bids and proposals from contractors and vendors.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and other engineers to create integrated solutions for building projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for buildings or architecture.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in CAD and Revit design software.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
