Ballroom Dance Studio Instructor / Coordinator
We are looking to hire a passionate dance instructor to join our vibrant dance studio. You will be responsible for teaching and training a dynamic group of students in a range of techniques and dance styles, ensuring that all students are engaged, motivated, and inspired to achieve their goals in their chosen area of dance.

Flexible work schedule! Ideal candidate is available to teach at least 3 days per week, with potential to add more based on demand. Afternoon and evening hours are a must.

If you love dance and enjoy working with people of all ages, we encourage you to apply. Proven dance experience as a dance instructor or assistant in a dance studio is strongly desired. We are willing to train the right candidate in Ballroom & Latin dance styles. Instructors will assist coordinating schedule and incoming leads while building a client base.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to teach using various dance styles and methodologies from beginner to advanced level.
• Work off DVIDA and prepare lesson plans.
• Ability to communicate with a diverse group of teachers and students.
• Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals.
• Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement.
• Choreograph routines and select music for showcases and spotlight dances.
• Conduct group and private lessons as required.
• Provide a fun and creative environment.
• Participate in weekly practice parties.
• Keep up to date in your discipline and implement any changes to the dance routines and curriculum as needed
• HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.

Krystal Ballroom Dance Studios has over 20 years experience in ballroom dance instruction, events and competitions. We hold national titles and host various in house spotlights and showcase events throughout the year.

Our perfect candidate would be a self starter, motivated, positive and outgoing. Well spoken, friendly candidate who has a love for dance, movement and well-being. You must must be open minded, work well as a team!

Must also willing to further educate yourself and be the best the industry offers.

This position is for a male or female instructor with approximately 3 years experience in the ballroom community.

We offer private lessons, group classes and have social parties on a weekly basis.

Position includes possibilities for growth, and participations in events such as ballroom cruises, yearly balls, local competitions and various showcases. – Travel and get paid!

We teach based off DVIDA. And use MINDBODY as a scheduling software.
