Krunch Finance provides bookkeeping and CFO services for CPG brands that sell at Retail, Amazon, Shopify, and Direct to Consumer. We serve as an outsourced finance team for our CPG clients and provide them with the team, the processes and the tools to enable better financial transparency as well as help them make better financial decisions. Our approach is highly comprehensive and leverages off-the-shelf technology such as QBO, Bill.com, Expensify, DEAR Systems and other third party tools. We are based in Los Angeles, California.

You are heavily experienced in dealing with inventory accounting and understand how to deal with distributor bill-backs, returns, product giveaways, Amazon reconciliation and other CPG specific needs. General Outline of Duties

• Serve as the primary contact for client engagements
• Work within a multi-member team to manage clients’ financial reporting
• Onboard new clients and help optimize chart of accounts and financial processes
• Book accounting entries
• Manage COGS entries and inventory management accounting
• Create analysis on Amazon, Shopify, and other internet sales and media related activity
• Perform monthly reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements
• Manage customer document flow utilizing cloud-based technologies
• Prepare filings for Sales Tax Returns, Business Licenses, and Property Tax Returns
• Create client performance reports and KPI summaries
• Assist junior team members as needed
• Provide input to the product development team for ideas to streamline operations

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent field
• Strong understanding of QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
• 4-5 years of consumer brand accounting experience required
• Minimum of 3 years of inventory accounting experience required
• Experience with Shopify and/or Cin7 is a plus
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple clients
• Excellent communication and writing skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
