Main duties and responsibilities

Kronospan has an exciting opportunity for a Trainee HR Manager to join the team. Initially to be based in our UK operation at Chirk (North Wales) for up to 18 months, where you will receive world class training prior to taking up a position at one of our manufacturing plants in Europe.

This opportunity will suit a HR Professional who would like to return to their home country / region having secured a fantastic career with a world leading business, or a HR Professional keen to explore working in new locations around the world. This is a full time, permanent position offering a very competitive salary.

Trainee HR Manager Tasks & Responsibilities

• Management of HR activities in compliance with Corporate HR policy and local labour regulations
• In-house recruitment processes
• Deliver best practice and procedures.
• Supervision and control of payroll activities
• Organisational development and succession planning
• Staff and work force training – organization, co-ordination and supervision.
• HR Team development.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience within an HR generalist function
• Excellent knowledge of Eastern European labour market and legislation
• Higher education (Economics, Management, Legal)
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Fluency in a relevant Eastern European language and English is a must.
• Availability and willingness to travel.
