Krispy Krunchy Foods, LLC Hiring for Director of Sales – West at Alexandria, LA Full Time

The Director of Sales-West is a key leadership role within Krispy Krunchy Foods, responsible for overseeing and managing the performance of the Regional Sales Managers and their respective teams of sales representatives throughout western markets. This position requires a strategic and results-oriented individual who can drive revenue growth, build strong relationships, and provide effective sales coaching and guidance to the sales team. The Director of Sales – West will directly to the Vice President of Sales and play a crucial role in achieving the company’s sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Regional Sales Managers, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture within the team.
• Set clear sales targets, objectives, and performance metrics for Regional Sales Managers and sales representatives.

Strategic Planning

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives to achieve company sales targets.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop effective sales strategies and support programs.

Relationship Building

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, convenience store partners, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to nurture and expand existing customer relationships.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and market penetration.

Sales Performance And Analysis

• Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
• Develop and implement sales training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
• Conduct regular sales forecasts and pipeline reviews to ensure accuracy and alignment with company goals.

Collaboration And Communication

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and supply chain, to optimize the customer experience and resolve issues.
• Provide timely and accurate s to the VP of Sales on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Communicate company sales objectives, strategies, and initiatives to the sales team and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in CPG, QSR/foodservice industry, or convenience retail channel.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market data and identify opportunities for business growth.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
