Accounting Manager/Controller – Mt. Angel area wholesale nursery grower seeks a well-rounded Accounting Manager/Controller.

Primary duties include oversight of daily accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger; financial reporting; credit management; fixed assets; various reporting to government agencies; and special projects as directed by the CFO/General Manager.

The Accounting Manager will work closely with Inventory, Forecasting, Sales, HR and Production departments to provide decision making guidance and support. The position directly manages two staff and reports to the CFO/General Manager.

Solid, demonstrable understanding of accounting principles, sound judgment, professionalism, and a good technical aptitude with strong skills in the use of general office and accounting software applications required. Four-year accounting degree or significant relevant experience required. CPA preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
