KPMG is Looking for SOC T1 Analyst Full Time

Overview:

The Opportunity
The Cyber security analyst will have the opportunity to be on night shift duty to oversee sorting, investigating and escalating security alerts that come from different solutions of our clients. All within a pre-defined framework of playbooks. In this context, the analyst will have the opportunity to be exposed to the reality and challenges of Canadian organizations in relation to cyber security attacks.

What you will do:

  • Triage and analyze alerts within our SOAR platform
  • Basic reactive threat hunting and anomaly investigation
  • Write incident reports for customers
  • Be a key player in the continuous improvement process
  • Interact with the customer on ongoing investigations
  • Establish and maintain a relationship of trust with our customers.

What you bring to this role:

  • Be a graduate of a Computer Science Technician at least (or equivalent)
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of IT experience
  • Have experience with the scripting language
  • Master the written and spoken English and French language
  • Certifications in the field of IT (networking and cybersecurity)
