The role will be based at a large special school located in the London Borough of Brent. with almost 220 incredible pupils on roll, from Reception to Key Stage 3. The main school site is based in Kensal Rise and the other is situated on Bridge Road which is approximately 2.5 miles away.

The school has a reputation for being a centre of excellence locally and further afield. Recently, they were humbled to be crowned “School of the Year” at the inaugural National Schools Awards and in January they were delighted to be judged “Outstanding” again by Ofsted. Despite their success, they have always striving to be better and are constantly looking at ways to improve their provision and the lives of their wonderful pupils.

As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the teaching staff to provide support to students in the classroom. You will be responsible for assisting with lesson planning, delivering small group sessions, and providing one-to-one support to students who require additional help.

 The ideal candidate will have a degree in Psychology or a related field, as well as experience working with young people. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and have the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff alike.
