Join our team at Körber! As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of an international cross-functional development team. You will play a critical role in producing and delivering high-quality, reliable, and scalable products.

Your role on our team

• You have/acquire a mastery knowledge of the team’s product(s) to contribute to the development of products that deliver value to the customer and meet the required business objectives

• You have a mastery of the technical skills needed to develop in all areas of the team’s product(s)

• You will independently design and develop very complex systemic feature enhancements and resolve bugs

• You will serve as the guardian for the product architecture assisting more junior developers in evaluating the impact of enhancements on the architecture

• You will in most cases drive the design of large features considering requirements, diagnosability, performance, and maintainability of the product

• You will mentor junior developers in processes, technologies, products, and coding styles.

• You will mentor junior developers producing simple and elegant code that consistently complies with ideal design patterns and coding standards

• You will lead junior developers assisting on large-sized features

• You will ensure that products developed are of high quality

• You will ensure that products developed are completed on time

• You will proactively seek assistance as needed to complete work in a reasonable amount of time

• You will seek out methods of product development to increase productivity and quality

• You will actively participate in the Agile process such as daily huddles, estimating, code reviews, and retrospectives

• You will proactively work on your education to stay up-to-date on new technologies and development practices

Your profile

• You have the ability to demonstrate mastery in applying theories, principles, concepts, and methodologies to innovative solutions

• You have a Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, or related field) or equivalent work experience

• You have a minimum of 8 years of experience

• You are proficient in HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript, and TypeScript

• You are proficient in Knockout or a similar library/framework such as Angular/Vue

• You are proficient with HTTP and REST APIs – experience with OData preferred

• You are proficient with JSON

• You are proficient with JQuery

• You are proficient in C# development

• You have experience with npm packages

• You have experience with Kendo UI

• You have experience working with relational databases

• You have experience with version control systems – Git preferred

• You have experience with Agile Tools, CI/CD – Azure DevOps preferred

• You have strong written and verbal communication skills

• You have attention to detail

• You are someone who has a sense of pride, commitment, and personal accountability

• You behave in a manner to promote a strong team morale

• You consistently share information with team members to promote a strong cross-functional team

• You proactively seek technology knowledge to further the advancement of technologies in the product
