Job Summary:

The WMS Project Manager/Account Manager is responsible for managing projects related to Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation and providing support to clients as an account manager. The individual in this role will work closely with clients to understand their requirements, manage project timelines, and ensure successful delivery of WMS solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end project delivery for WMS implementations, including scoping, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, develop project plans, and ensure successful delivery of WMS solutions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth delivery of projects, including IT, Operations, and other departments as required.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, status s, and other project documentation as required.
• Provide regular project updates to clients and management.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and issues.
• Provide guidance and support to clients during the project and post-implementation phases.
• Manage project budgets and ensure that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints.
• Conduct regular meetings with clients and internal teams to ensure project objectives are being met and any issues are addressed promptly.
• Identify and manage project risks and issues, and escalate as required.
• Ensure compliance with project management best practices and company policies and procedures.
• Ability to travel on site (valid drivers license) and interstate where necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management and account management, preferably in the Supply Chain industry.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
• Experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with WMS software Körber Warehouse Advantage/HighJump Software, Blue Yonder, Manhattan Associates, SAP- WM, Oracle-WM, Accellos, Infor, etc.
• is preferred.
• Prince2/ SCRUM/ Agile Certifications preferred
