Role Overview

The Sales and Education Representative role is key to driving performance at Sephora. This role serves as the front-line representative for KORA Organics in Sephora’s doors and is primarily responsible for ensuring KORA is well represented in-store, that we are driving sales, and that consumers and Sephora cast alike are educated about KORA’s product benefits.

Key responsibilities are as follows:

• Serve as a key Brand Ambassador for the KORA brand, including having intimate knowledge of our assortment and related benefits.
• Responsible for the monthly sales goals by door to meet annual sales plans by region.
• Work with Store Directors/Store Managers to ensure plans for all products, retail sales goals, seasonal advertising timelines, and space and location are being communicated and implemented.
• Conduct monthly visits in all assigned doors. These visits include product focused trainings on both existing products and any launches, review of the linear to ensure it is in line with expectations, and client engagement and team selling with store staff.
• Conduct large scale trainings for new store openings, as well as area cluster trainings.
• Conduct quarterly Brand Business Reviews with each assigned store location to partner and create measurable goals to achieve annual sales plans.
• Plan and execute weekly in-store events to drive retail sales.
• Work with store management to provide additional retail opportunities through outposts, towers, tables and any end caps that are available at the store level over and above what is planned at the corporate level.
• Maintain strong relationships with stores via continual weekly communication, follow through and monthly in-store visits.
• Ensure proper stock levels to achieve monthly retail sales goals through meeting with Store Directors/Store Managers, cycle counts and reporting stock discrepancies to KORA management.
• Hire, train and develop freelance reps as needed in the territory.
• Effectively manage travel and entertainment expenses, ensuring as high an ROI as possible and that we do not go over approved budget.
