Kootenai Health, located in Coeur d’Alene, ID, is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist!

Some core focuses of this role include;

• Serve as facility liaison for employee transfer process (internal mobility)
• Recommends and develops initiatives that positively impact internal mobility process and retention in support of the workforce of the future initiatives
• Conducts metric report research including nursing, time to fill, and recruitment statistical reporting
• Supports the Talent Acquisition team with applicant screening as needed
• Supports the process of generating and presenting offers to applicants
• Provides recruiting software support and maintenance, including but not limited to job postings and data updates
• Monitors that applicants are moved through all stages of the recruitment software and process in a timely and efficient manner
• Coordinates team job fairs and conferences logistics; attends local job fairs
• Participates in compensation reviews/audits as needed
• Attends committees for nursing initiatives
• Stays abreast of current recruitment trends, best practices and laws
• Works on special projects with the goal of identifying gaps and improving efficiency of recruiting processes and candidate experience as assigned
• Supports full-cycle recruitment as needed
• Demonstrates values of the Kootenai Health Way
• Provides support to new hire onboarding process as needed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Associate’s degree and experience in Human Resources or related area OR Equivalent combination of education and related human resources experience required
• Minimum 2 years’ recruitment or Human Resources experience required
• Talent Acquisition/Recruitment Certification required or completed within 6 months of hire
• Proficient in computer software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience in working with multiple processes and serving multiple customers
• Ability to communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to influence others and strong listening skills
• Demonstrates competencies associated with the hiring process
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients
• Ability to coordinate with other human resources teams to deliver seamless customer service
• Ability to analyze data and identify information trends
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and adaptability to changing priorities and working with multiple customers
• Requires the ability to work with and maintain confidential information
