Talent Acquisition Sourcer

Position Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Sourcer works collaboratively as part of the Talent Acquisition team to execute on all aspects of the local, regional and national sourcing strategies and efforts to build a robust pipeline of candidates for critical hiring needs. Creates interest and attracts top talent to the organization in alignment with Kootenai Health’s values, mission, vision and strategic objectives. Responsible for sourcing passive and active talent for current and future hiring needs in support of workforce initiatives. Promotes employer brand to engage top talent who fit Kootenai Health’s culture. Develops, executes and measures results of talent sourcing strategies designed to effectively identify talent for current and anticipated hiring needs across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Works in conjunction with cross-functional partners and their hiring managers to understand the requirements for the hard-to-fill open positions
• Utilizes and creates advanced research techniques to build and execute plans to find top health care talent through various mediums for passive searches such as Internet and internal database mining, networking, associations, social media, referrals, Boolean search strings, online and traditional directories, name-generation research, cold callings, establishing active partnership with local colleges/universities and other groups as well as other innovative sourcing methods
• Serves as a strategic consultant to the talent acquisition team to develop and execute targeted recruiting plans to support defined talent needs based business and market knowledge
• Utilizes methods and innovative solutions to identify and attract prospective candidates and build talent pipeline
• Researches industry competitive intelligence data to provide recommendations for recruiting marketing efforts based on labor market trends; assists with workforce planning
• Prioritizes work and sets appropriate expectations with hiring managers and partners
• Anticipates roadblocks and issues, course corrects, resets expectations, and redirects resources
• Communicates proactively and consistently with talent acquisition team, and all external contacts and potential candidates; ensures a positive client and candidate experience
• Develops long-term relationships with potential candidates
• Continuously enhances and maintains understanding of recruiting best practices, as well as an understanding of client businesses and business plans
• Develops and executes recruitment sourcing strategy to ensure a constant flow of high-quality leads and names into assigned key pipelines and requisitions
• Influences potential candidates on the benefits of working at Kootenai Health
• Screens candidates to determine suitability for positions; Presents and hands off viable candidates to Talent Acquisition Partners
• Gathers, analyzes, and reports effectiveness of sourcing strategy to leadership and hiring managers
• Participates campus hiring events, national conferences, and school conferences/job events
• Measures results of candidate sourcing through achievement of target time-to-fill and goals established for each category of hire
• Creates, maintains and monitors talent pipelines to assess depth of candidate pool and actions needed to maintain talent levels and quality
• May support full cycle recruitment during times of high volume or large recruitment campaigns
• Participates in department projects and process improvement initiatives as needed
• Adheres to department processes and procedures in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Maintains effective partnerships, communication and collaboration with teammates, internal and external customers, and individuals at all levels of the organization
• Demonstrates values of the Kootenai Health Way
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
• Competent to meet age-specific needs of the unit assigned

Requirements and Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and experience in Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and related experience is required
• Minimum 3 year’s full-cycle sourcing and recruiting experience required, preferably in a healthcare or staffing environment
• Talent Acquisition/Recruitment Certification required or completed within 6 months of hire
• Demonstrated candidate sourcing and pipelining capabilities
• Proficient in computer software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and social media
• Ability to produce results for high-volume, high-complexity hiring needs
• Excellent oral written communication skills, listening skills, interpersonal skills and time management processes required
• Maintains an effective and professional working relationship with all levels of the organization
• Ability to analyze data, identify information trends and determine solutions
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to a changing environment and adaptability to changing priorities and working with multiple customers and solid creative problem-solving skills
• Requires the ability to work with and maintain confidential information
• Service-minded and detail-oriented
• Demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment and/or commitment to promoting a diverse environment required

Working Conditions:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $64,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
