Kootenai Health is hiring a Talent Acquisition Consultant to join the Human Resources Talent team!

As the Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will acts as a strategic partner providing consultative support to hiring managers to effectively manage all aspects of the Talent Acquisition process/full life-cycle recruitment for Kootenai Health’s designated service lines. You will deliver recruiting results that strengthen the organization’s image as the employer of choice by attracting top talent who fit the culture, mission and values of Kootenai Health. Remote eligible after 6 months on site!

Core responsibilities include:

• Serves as an internal talent consultant and recruitment subject matter expert for hiring managers, using knowledge of intelligence data of labor market dynamics, current recruitment trends, best practices and competitive landscape
• Establishes an intake process with hiring managers to set Service Level Agreements, identifies and understands strategic objectives, hiring needs, team culture and goals and job specifications
• Builds trusted relationships with candidates, serving as a single point of contact throughout the recruitment process. Understands their motivations and expectations, and positions Kootenai Health’s career opportunities, employer brand, benefits
• Establishes and maintains strong rapport with internal departments and hiring managers
• Reviews, tracks, and updates candidates using applicant tracking system, recruitment tools and resources, while ensuring the integrity of reporting data
• Incorporates learned understanding of specific business needs to coach hiring managers on the creation of job postings to attract the most qualified and talented candidates
• Trains/educates hiring managers on recruitment processes and best practices, and coaches applicants and internal talent on interviewing best practices and career pathways
• Develops local, regional, and national recruiting plans, employing sourcing strategies/resources, as well as developing innovating recruiting ideas to meet the workforce of the future needs
• Provides effective talent-related decision support through the use of timely and meaningful data, analysis, metrics, and dashboards as needed
• Contributes ideas to influence innovative ways to improve the organization’s Talent Acquisition processes and strategy, and enhance success factors and best practices for hiring and retaining talent
• Represents Kootenai Health at local, state and national career fairs and conferences

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Associate’s degree and experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or related area, orequivalent combination of education and related human resources experience required
• Minimum 2 years’ talent acquisition/recruitment/sourcing experience required
• Talent Acquisition/Recruitment Certification required or completed within 6 months of hire
• Proven specialized expertise in the field required, including, recruitment strategies, using a variety of applicant sourcing techniques and recruitment processes and tools required
• Computer proficiency MS Word, Excel, HRIS databases, applicant tracking systems, and Internet sourcing techniques
• Strong player and team collaboration orientation; adopts a “get it done together” attitude
• Excellent skills in influencing, building and maintaining productive and professional relationships, interpersonal skills, negotiation, collaboration, and handling difficult conversations
• Demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment and/or commitment to promoting a diverse environment
• Must be able to successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and high-energy work environment
• Ability to analyze data, identify information trends with a creative problem-solving approach
• Demonstrated ability to be adaptable to a dynamic environment, changing priorities and working with multiple customers/clients
• Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
• Strong collaboration, customer service, communication and detail oriented
• Ability and willingness to travel
