LOGISTICS SPECIALIST

What you will do:

· Analyze product delivery or supply chain processes to identify and recommend changes.

· Reorganize shipping schedules to consolidate loads, maximize vehicle usage, or limit the movement of empty vehicles or containers.

· Manage rout activities such as invoicing, electronic bills, and shipment tracing.

· Develop and maintain cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models.

· Manage ad-hoc queries and maintain s.

· Conduct analysis and create s of weekly and monthly KPIs, such as on-time delivery rates, order-fulfillment rates, inventory turns, etc.

· Audit transportation accessorial charges by carrier and customer.

· Correct freight settlement documents to ensure the proper accruing of freight on a daily basis.

· Estimate distribution costs for new business opportunities, such as indirect/direct freight, distribution center costs, etc.

What it takes:

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field, or extensive relevant work experience.

· Two or more years of experience in transportation, logistics, or customer service

· Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

· Think creatively to solve problems.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· High attention to detail.

· Customer focused.

· Resilient in stressful situations.

Pay: $55,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
