Kona Winds Charters is Looking For Deckhand at Gibsons, BC Full Time

Hiring for a PART TIME Deckhand 20+ hrs/week – Training provided.

Water-taxi running out of Langdale Ferry Terminal to Gambier and Keats Islands. 40 passenger Ferry runs 7 days a week on a BC Ferries set schedule. Must be 18 years of age to comply with Transport Canada.

Customer Service skills an asset! $22.75/hour plus 4% vacation. Duties include collecting cash and tickets from passengers, assisting with boarding, keeping a detailed manifest and tying up the boat at docks. Flexible shifts for people with other jobs. Mornings, Afternoons or Full days, up to 9 hrs/day.

This is a fun and often relaxing job cruising between the Islands and enjoying the scenery and people. The passengers are mostly residents and cottagers of Gambier and Keats Island.
