Engineering Analyst, Direct Sales

Work Mode : Remote

Location : Remote at Kohler Energy – Kohler, WI

Opportunity

In close collaboration with the Project Engineering Team, Direct Sales; the Engineering Analyst, Direct Sales, is responsible for supporting direct customers with specification reviews, project quotations, and submittal creation for new opportunities.

The Engineering Analyst shall assist in the compilation and construction of formal proposal packages to our key customers during the quotation stage.

The responsibility of the Engineering Analyst is to work cross functionally within the Kohler organization to create a winning solution for our customers that is on time and exceeds expectations.

This person will be able to leverage their creativity and technical skills to provide industry leading support and delight our customers.

Specific Responsibilities

• Work in collaboration with the Project Sales Engineering team, as an internal stakeholder in the creation, construction, compilation and delivery of custom proposals and submittals.
• Quotes include information on proposed products, specification compliance statements, project timelines and purchase agreements.
• Works with and coordinates third-party supplier information requests.
• Capable of supporting the review of customer specifications and print packages for compliance, deviation and exceptions (CDE).
• Compiles customer proposal documentation in a clear and concise manner.
• Upon receipt of order, review for completeness, and support Project Sales Engineers.
• Compile, create and deliver detailed project submittals as per project order criteria to Project Engineers and Sales Managers for review.
• Support Project Engineers and Sales Managers in final review of approved submittal package.

Skills / Requirements

• Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent experience required.Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Technical sales experience with quoting, reading engineering drawings and project specifications is preferred.
• Demonstrated people skills required to lead & motivate professionals in a matrix organization who are not direct s.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge and proficiency in the Microsoft Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, etc) and Adobe Pro.
• Self-starter with a can-do attitude.
• Travel Requirements
• The expectation of this position is the Associate is available to travel to Kohler, WI to support customer visits or project deliverables up to five (5) days at a time, or as required.
• This position requires travel, 15%.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The salary range for this position is $60,700 – $75,900. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
