From Melbourne beginnings, the company has expanded to Sydney and Brisbane, and every team member has an important part to play in daily operations. have requested Kogan People Solutions help them to recruit their new Accountant for the finance team.
About the role
Based in offices in Clayton Vic, as the newly appointed Accountant, you will become a core member of the team and report to their CPA qualified Finance Manager. You will provide support on all accounting, budgeting and financing matters. Over time, you’ll be given the opportunity to work on tax related matters too.

Reporting to the Finance Manager your responsibilities will include

• General ledger reporting
• Stock control
• Preparing financial management reporting for internal stakeholders
• Involvement in preparation of company financial budgets
• Preparation of regular financial reports, with a focus on accuracy and their compliance with statutory requirements
• Examining and reporting on operating costs, income and expenditure
• Variance analysis and associated analytical efforts
• Participate in review and upgrades of accounting systems and processes

About you

• You have experience in the Accounting function within a similarly busy and complex Accounting environment with lots of experience ideally in packages including Infusion
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• At least 3 years working experience since you earned your qualifications
• CA or CPA or progress towards same
• A well organised working style – able to cheerfully meet demanding work requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication style
• Working rights – you can work fulltime in Australia without any restriction
