This role, reporting to the KES Asia Pacific Director of Finance, will be based in the Sydney offices of Koch Australia Pty Ltd. The candidate will be responsible for the full ownership of the 4 divisional ledgers and the consolidated ledger of Koch Australia Pty Ltd legal entity.

What You Will Do In Your Role

• General journal entries for Revenues, Cost of Sales, and periodic accruals
• Manage booking and backlog recordings
• Maintenance of multiple business performance/tracking excel worksheets
• Review of intercompany invoices and recharges, according to the existing policies and agreements
• Manage periodic account reconciliations
• Batching/coding AP invoicing for data entry by Koch Shared Services
• Process, recording and distribution of AR invoicing
• Working with Koch Shared Services to arrange/schedule AP payments
• Manage the verification/set up process for new AP and AR (Business Partners) into accounting system
• Preparation of monthly BAS statement reporting
• Preparation of monthly and annual NSW and Victorian payroll tax returns
• Processing of monthly employee expenses including reconciliations
• Work with the KES credit group to manage credit exposure of customers
• Work with KES Treasury to issue require bank guarantees
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and year end HQ reporting
• Working (as requested) with Asia Pacific business leaders to provide analysis of periodic reporting
• Assisting Asia Pacific Director of Finance with business plans and forecasts
• Assisting Asia Pacific Director of Finance with ad-hoc Asia Pacific reporting, including supporting the Shanghai office and liaising with external accounts – (Chinese speaking would be an advantage)
• Take the lead on Koch Australia Pty Ltd year end audit and assisting in preparation of year end statutory reporting
• Managing general office administration
• Ad hoc tasks as directed
• Manage US Gaap entries as required

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Experiences in an engineering environment would be an advantage
• Knowledge/Experience working with Infor LN an advantage
• Strong knowledge in accounting and fiscal Australia legislation is mandatory

What Will Put You Ahead

• Ability to work independently but also as part of a global team (team player), with minimal supervision
• Fluency in English, but knowledge of Mandarin would also be an advantage
