Location of office and work: Leeds City Centre (easily accessible by train, bus and car).

Salary: up to £50,000

The role:

An embedded systems business with a new and modern office based in Leeds City Centre require a Junior and Senior Software Test Engineer with Manual testing experience to join their growing software test team.

In this role you will have opportunity to test the middleware and firmware on a range of devices used in the commercial and consumer sector.

Some of devices you can expect to test are CCTV cameras, Wireless Routers, Set Top Boxes, Smart TV’s, Power Line Distribution devices, Networking devices.

There is lots of interesting manual software testing to do, which will keep you nicely challenged and will allow you to grow and develop your testing skills and experience. Although the initial testing is manual, there is opportunity to do test automation in the future if you wish.

Some of the initial testing work you will do will be user interface testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing and release testing.

To be suitable for this role you should have manual software testing experience. If you have tested middleware or embedded software devices previously this would be desirable (but is not essential).

Skills required:

• Manual software testing experience
• Can reliably take ownership and perform testing tasks and activities
• Able to document and testing results
