Knoxville Hospital and Clinics Hiring for Clinic Rooming RN – M, T, W, & F hrs at Knoxville, IA Full Time

The Clinic RN will provide safe, efficient nursing care to patients in a courteous manner, using proper procedures. The RN will support duties within the KHC Clinic under the supervision of the Clinic Director.

• Provide services to patients and providers.

• Room patients, identify and document chief complaint, allergies and medications.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight and measurement.
• Summarize assessment data, document and share with the provider.
• Provide immunizations injections and medications under provider’s orders.
• Assist with prescription refills.
• Perform preventative health screenings and nursing treatments.
• Assist with patient examinations.
• Perform detailed documentation, patient and family education.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span.
• Obtain consents for procedures.
• Exhibits cooperation and positive attitude toward co-workers, providers patients and visitors.
• Adheres to the KHC Standards of Behavior at all times with internal and external customers.
• Promotes good public relations for the clinic and hospital.
• Assures patients are see in an orderly and fair manner.
• Explains delays and waiting times.
• Ensure that acutely ill or injured patients are triages and seen first.
• Complete exam room outdates and restock supplies.

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• Current RN license in the State of Iowa
• Current BLS and Mandatory er certifications
• Two years of experience in a clinic/physician office preferred
• Proficient use of computer

Pay: $54,600.00 – $62,400.00 per year
