Knowsley Borough Council Hiring for Education Improvement Officer Job at Knowsley, England Full Time

As an Education Improvement Officer you will play a pivotal role in working with schools and partners to identify and celebrate good practice, raise standards, improve school effectiveness and deliver excellent education across Knowsley.

For this role, we are looking for an ambitious senior leader with a track record in delivering sustained school improvement. Reporting to the Head of Education, you will work to ensure continuous improvement and high standards and operate across schools and settings, effectively supporting the sector-led improvement system that has been developed. We are looking for candidates who will champion educational excellence across the borough. Applicants will be able to demonstrate relevant and effective leadership experience within an education context. Candidates should have a good understanding of national and local educational challenges, a strong awareness of the critical factors in school leadership and change management; and an appreciation of how to sustain quality first teaching and learning. Although as a member of the team you will be required to work across all key stages, experience of working within the secondary or FE sectors is desirable, although not essential.
