Knowsley Borough Council Hiring for Casual Adult Education Tutor Job at Knowsley, England Full Time

£15.04 per hour [+ 1.5 per hour see below]

For each hour of direct contact teaching, there is an expectation that tutors will undertake ½ hour preparation which will be paid at the same hourly rate. For each hour your teach therefore, you will be paid 1.5 x the hourly rate. Your salary is payable by credit transfer on the 15th of each month.

Knowsley FACE is the Council’s Adult Education Provider.

The service provides adult, community, family and community mental health learning opportunities across Knowsley. The services delivers a wide range of accredited and community learning courses including for example English, Maths, Digital Skills, Teaching and Learning, Domestic Abuse Awareness, Mental Health Awareness, Mentoring, Arts and Crafts, Languages, Volunteering, Understanding Specific Learning Difficulties, Parenting and Family Learning.

You will be required to produce, plan, deliver, assess and evaluate adult education provision within a specific subject area.

The successful applicants will hold a Post 16 Teaching qualification / PGCE
