The VP Operations/ Practice Administrator is responsible for the Integration of clinical and non-clinical operations at a thriving multi-location independent public-facing clinic-based medical practice.

The individual provides the leadership, direction, administration, and coordination of all medical office activities.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting directly to the president/ owner and working together as a team with other leadership members. The VP of Operations/ Practice Manager will be responsible for the management and leadership of all operational, clinical, and administrative activities at the practice. These responsibilities are vital for the overall success of the practice, the practice’s financial growth, maintaining professional standards for all employees, and most important maintaining quality healthcare for our patients.

The VP of Operations/Practice manager participates in discussion, consideration, and solution of problems common to the function of private practice medicine. This position will establish constructive and cooperative rapport with other administrative staff, clinical leads, midlevel providers, physicians, and the leadership.

The VP of Operations/PRactice manager will work with the team, lead by example to create the desired workplace culture. Engage and influence a productive workforce through policies, programs, and practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of seven years of progressively responsible administrative and operations experience in a medical office environment.

• Prior experience as a medical office COO or VP is desirable.

Experience/Skills

• Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to problem solve issues before they happen and address problems immediately.

• Significant experience with identifying and implementing performance improvement through benchmarking and identifying best practices.
• Experience with HR and willingness to oversee HR operations

• The ability to roll up the sleeves, get into the operation through collaboration with other team members and help bring about positive changes.

• Experience with broad application of both financial and clinical information systems. Familiarity with Modernizing Medicine and Athena is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated mentoring, coaching, and team-building skills.

• Demonstrated community and professional leadership.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year
