KMC is currently accepting applications for a full-time dispatcher in Wabasca AB. The successful candidate must have experience dispatching and operations of both Tank (fluid) and Vac trucks. This is a camp position so all meals and accommodations will be provided by KMC at our own private facility. We two different shift options to choose from. 28 days on 14 days off or 20 days on 10 days off.

Qualifications:

– 2 years of relevant dispatch experience in the oil industry.

– Valid WHMIS, TDG, H2S Alive, First Aid, CSO

– Strong knowledge of TDG regulations and DOT regulations.

– Class 1 driver’s license preferred.

– Strong communication skills i.e.: Verbal, written, along with understanding how people communicate differently and getting the most out of all team members.

– Superior customer service.

– Ability to work effectively in a team or independently.

– Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook.

– Critical thinking; unbiased analysis or evaluation of situations.

Responsibilities:

– Arrange Trucks and drivers for all jobs to be performed.

– Ability to supervise employees on day-to-day work.

– Help trouble shoot equipment problems to provide a solution.

– Work with General manager and safety department as needed.

– Assist with what units would be priorities for the mechanics.
