KMC Rubber is seeking a highly motivated and results driven individual to join our Ontario, CA manufacturing team.

Position Summary

The Customer Service Representative plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the company’s reputation. This position requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to provide solutions that meet the customer’s needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Responding to customer inquiries and order requests through phone, email, or chat
• Providing accurate and timely information to customers
• Resolving customer complaints by obtaining the details of the issue and communicating to the team for investigation
• Assisting customers with product information, pricing, and availability
• Processing customer orders, returns and issues
• Maintaining a positive and professional demeanor when dealing with customers
• Collaborating with other departments within the company to resolve customer issues
• Updating customer information in the company’s system
• Meeting or exceeding customer service goals and performance metrics
• Support vision, mission and guiding principles of the company
• Follow all company safety and environmental policies
• Follow all Quality system protocols and any discrepancies
• Able to work well under pressure and balance conflicting demands

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Previous customer service experience in a similar role
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in a manufacturing setting a plus.
