Summary/Objective

The Junior Staff Accountant will be assisting the Accounting department with their daily functions. This person will need to have strong organizational skills and be able to multi-task.

Essential Functions

• Process and journalize monthly commissions and adjustments
• Assist with annual budgets
• Responsible to creating and terminating internal and external accounts
• Assist with month end closings
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly analysis
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ad hoc projects as needed

Preferred Education and Experience

• Associates degree in Accounting or related work experience
• 0-1 years’ experience in an accounting department
• Experience processing commissions

Desired Skills

• Excellent computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Access
• AS400 JD Edwards knowledge a must
• Ability to work on multiple projects at once
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

This position may require domestic travel. Must be able to sit for an extended period of time
