About the role

Reporting to the Client Accounting Supervisor, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Client Accounting Coordinator to join our firm. This role provides an opportunity to provide financial and billing assistance to fee earners and support staff across our Australian offices. This role presents a great opportunity for someone to take carriage of day to day transactions, build relationships, and drive improvements and initiatives while working in a fast paced environment.

This opportunity is based in our Melbourne office on a full-time basis.

What does the role involve?

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide support across client accounting to the Melbourne and Perth offices, from setting up clients, matters and fee earners through to time management and billing.
• Support other offices as required, as above, as a member of the Australian client accounting team.
• Provide monthly billing and ebilling support to practice groups or offices.
• Process write offs, transfers and credit notes.
• Process pending time and time transfers.
• Produce and distribute client and audit reports.
• Assist in file opening and closing of matters, including fee estimates and variations.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years’ experience in client accounting within a law firm or a professional services firm. Candidates with previous experience in Elite Enterprise/3E and Intapp systems are encouraged to apply.
