Job Summary

Kitsap Credit Union is growing and has a job opening for a full-time salaried, hybrid work eligible Vice President of Finance with the option to work out of our beautiful office in downtown Bremerton or Seattle. The Vice President, Finance is responsible for overall leadership and execution of all Finance functions including asset/liability management, balance sheet and liquidity strategy development, investment portfolio analysis and management, budgeting, product and responsibility center reporting, and deposit and loan pricing models. The position also is responsible for driving constant improvement in Operational Excellence.

Principal Accountabilities

• Leads the development and execution of balance sheet and liquidity strategies.
• Oversees asset/liability management including interest rate and liquidity risk measurement and monitoring.
• Identifies, analyzes, and implements hedging strategies.
• Prepares and presents asset/liability and finance committee materials.
• Drives improvements to the overall budget and forecasting process. Prepares the annual financial plan and underlying budget for the credit union.
• Assists in the drafting and preparation of the annual business plan.
• Prepares, maintains, and executes an investment strategy that aligns with the overall balance sheet and liquidity strategies.
• Oversees deposit and loan pricing model development and drives governance process.
• Analyzes performance reporting and makes recommendations for improving financial and business results.
• Collaborates with leaders across the organization, leads initiatives to improve business processes and drives efficiency.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field of study required. Master of Business Administration degree, preferred. Minimum of 10 years’ experience in financial institutions with a combination of the following experience required; Capital Markets, Financial Analysis, Asset/Liability Management, Investment Portfolio Management, and Data Analysis.

Kitsap Credit Union requires new hires to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work.
