Today restaurants face the largest staffing crisis of all time. Our goal is to help operators have more team and less work. This means creating a pipeline of talented professionals so that they can keep their doors open, their guests happy, and their focus on what they love.
What does a hospitality recruiter do?
– Interact with restaurant clients to help understand their unique needs in a specific role
– Interact with candidates to identify what they are looking for in an ideal career fit
– Scan resumes for viability for a given role
– Conduct phone screens
– Coordinate candidate and client meetings
– Generate creative content to attract top talent
– Actively network and build industry relationships
– Eat great food in top restaurants : )
Worried that you don’t have enough experience? Don’t be! We are looking for team members at every level of experience. While recruiting experience or a background in HR is helpful, we are also open to candidates with no experience. The following qualities are far more important:
– Can seamlessly navigate conversations with business owners and entry-level restaurant employees alike
– Eye for detail and nuance when reviewing high volumes of information
– Creative writing skills
– Familiarity with social media and networking
– A genuine interest in helping others in their professional journey – A love of restaurants and a desire to know more about the industry and the people that make it special
