RECRUITER JOB DESCRIPTION
Kinsale Golf and Fitness Club, and Scioto Reserve Country Club, our sister club, are looking for an Internal Recruiter who is both educated and experienced in seeking highly skilled people to fill key positions at each club. Both Kinsale Golf and Fitness Club and Scioto Reserve Country Club are continuing to grow, which will require additional people to support our performance standards. This position will work full time in managing this operation.
The Internal HR Recruiting Specialist, or Recruiter, will be responsible for determining the needs of our clubs, and will then seek out quality candidates, confirming their qualifications, and placing them in key positions as needed.
A strong Recruiter is fully committed in securing high quality people to enhance the club’s performance. The Recruiter must be able to manage multiple candidates at the same time to ensure they are qualified to work in the correct position. The Recruiter will also guide them through the entire hiring process.
Additional qualification skills include always displaying a cheerful outlook, Possess excellent research techniques, excellent interviewing skills, highly professional management skills. This position will work closely with Department Heads at both clubs to confirm their needs on an ongoing basis.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or experience in this field.
The Recruiter will use a myriad of networks to find talented people for open positions at the clubs, including developing relationships with schools, including Vocational Schools and Universities, Agronomy Schools, and Culinary Schools, to find high quality people.
The Recruiter must possess excellent communication skills, outgoing, energetic, initiative-taker, strong organization skills, including industry experience.
Responsibilities include:
1. Researching job seekers
2. Invite them to apply for a position
3. Screen candidates
4. Prepare New Hire paperwork
5. Review Resume’s and arrange interviews
6. Provide support after hiring people
7. Assist in developing job descriptions to reflect the club’s needs
8. Create job postings on social media and job boards to attract candidates
9. E-Mail and call prospective candidates
10. Set up and participate in interviews with Department Heads and candidates
11. Network with multiple companies to develop positive relationship
12. Recruit full-time, part-time team members
13. Include part-time staff and additional seasonal internships for summer roles
Additional responsibilities will include performing orientation programs for all staff covering a myriad of topics, including parking restrictions, employee policy language, phone policy, dress code and uniforms, time punching procedure, in addition to developing employee recognition and team building events and meetings.
The Recruiter will report directly to the President of the Clubs, with support from each club’s General Managers.
