KINNECT Hiring for Company Accountant Job at Remote Full Time

LET THE JOURNEY BEGIN
As our Company Accountant, you will report directly to the CFO and will support the day-to-day accounting functions of our growing business, including month end processes, internal auditing functionals and completion of statutory requirements.
The opportunity would be suitable for CA or CPA who wants to work part-time (25 hours per week) whilst also utilise their public practice experience to make a valuable contribution to the finance team. To be successful you will be an experienced accountant with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Some of your duties will include: –

• Completion of month end processes and journals including accruals, prepayments and depreciation
• Preparation of monthly financial reports, ensuring processes are completed on a timely and accurate basis in accordance with financial reporting guidelines
• Completion of General ledger / Balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintaining Chart of Accounts
• Reviewing & authorising fortnightly payroll
• Preparation of business wide KPI Reporting
• Completion of statutory requirements including BAS, IAS, payroll tax, superannuation, IAS, and WEGA
• Liaising with external accountants regarding year-end income tax returns and financial statements
• Providing analytical support to executive leaders as required
• Completion of the monthly management information pack, including focus on key drivers and variance analysis
• Seeking continuous improvement of financial accounting processes to enable the delivery of an efficient and stream-lined service, documenting changes to processes and procedures.
