Kingswood Montessori Academy is a private, accredited, independent school in Homestead , Florida established in 1968. Our Elementary program is currently seeking a lead teacher for our 4th-5th classroom for the 2022-2023 school year.
We are currently accepting resumes for a lead teacher. The ideal candidate should have:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Education
-Min 3 years experience as a lead classroom teacher
-Experience with all curriculum areas (math, language, science history in upper elementary)
The multi-level classroom will have students ages 9-11. The ideal candidate must have record keeping abilities, great communicator, an appreciation and understanding of Montessori’s philosophy of understanding the unique approach to teaching to the individual needs of the child. SMART board technology knowledge a plus.
