Kingston Kabs Hiring for Taxi Dispatcher at Kingston, NY Full Time

Dispatcher needed for evening position. Experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate. Employee discount for taxi services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to, the following:

• Assign work to drivers to efficiently fulfill daily reservations/runs
• Track the status of trips to ensure timely and accurate trip completion
• Verify and log vehicle assignments daily to ensure proper billing.
• Maintain an accurate record of their assigned driving activities to ensure timely pick-ups.
• Monitor/Update reservations and relay information pleasantly to drivers and customers.
• Answer multiple phone lines, take and input reservations, dispatch drivers, track transports.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent customer service and problem solving abilities
• Previous experience with dispatching, customer service or other related fields a plus.
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Strong communication skills and computer proficiency
