We are experiencing significant growth right now and this is a genuinely exciting opportunity for a HR Administrator to provide effective support and an operational advice service, managing and coordinating daily administrative HR and Recruitment tasks.
Key responsibilities of our HR Administrator:
You will create and maintain employee and departmental records such as the setup of personnel files, adding starters to all relevant systems and assisting if necessary with issuing relevant paperwork to new starters and liaising with key stakeholders as necessary.
Provide a first line advisory service to employees ensuring that they are fully aware of their rights and entitlements, e.g. wages, SSP, expenses, paternity, personal issues and any day-to-day HR occurrences.
Apply staff changes (e.g. salary adjustments, increases and deductions, overtime payments, pension payments and holiday pay etc.) in a timely manner, ensuring appropriate stakeholders (Payroll; recruitment etc.) are notified in order to maintain the appropriate audit trail.
Administration of the HR information system (manual or electronic) ensuring records are kept up to date and changes are processed/communicated in a timely manner.
Provide ad hoc administration support to the HR team as required including creating and distributing HR documentation, letters and other communications.
Support the HR Operations and Talent Leads in achieving business objectives and assist on projects and activities where appropriate.
Raise Purchase Orders on the company SAP system
Updating/drafting Job Descriptions/Person Specifications where required, for approval
Producing and posting job adverts on the relevant platforms
Maintain and update the vacancy / offer tracker where appropriate.
To answer / deal with queries via the telephone and e-mail, take messages and pass them on to the relevant individual in a timely manner
What we’re looking for in our HR Administrator:
As the tasks and responsibilities for the HR Administrator role are varied and wide-ranging covering different aspects of both HR and Recruitment, we are looking for an individual with generalist HR experience with knowledge, understanding and practical application of Employment Law. You will be proactive, be able to prioritise effectively and possess meticulous attention to detail. The successful candidate will be confident at delivering feedback and communicating with stakeholders at all levels. You will have experience of producing succinct correspondence and written reports with excellent administrative skills and excellent Excel skills
Although not essential being qualified to or working towards CIPD HR level 3 would be beneficial. Knowledge of Time & Attendance software and experience of working for a manufacturing company would be desirable.
