Overview :
Cedar Fair is seeking a Manager of Digital Marketing at our Kings Island location. The Manager of Digital Marketing is responsible for driving successful brand strategy and a superior consumer experience on Kings Island’s multiple digital platforms including its website, mobile app, and social media channels including but not limited to : FaceBook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Snapchat and through third-party influencers and content creators.
This includes the planning, creation, monitoring and maintenance of original content across each of these platforms, and the use of advanced analytics to measure success and make recommendations on future strategies.
The position also leads all aspects of Kings Island’s social media presence including content planning and storytelling through photo, video and copy creation, along with monitoring engagement, moderating responses, ing on KPIs including guest sentiment, and managing a monthly budget for paid social content.
This position is also the day-to-day liaison for social media influencer relations, assists and sometimes leads special events, and is integral in supporting public relations and crisis communication management.
Responsibilities :
Develops and executes Kings Island’s social media strategies and plans, including the creation of both organic and paid social media content, scheduling and managing posts;
monitoring guest comments and responding promptly across all platforms.
Responsible for the growth of current and future social media platforms with strategies to improve KPIs such as engagement, following, social traffic to the website and conversions.
Ongoing monitoring and ing on key social media KPIs and providing guest sentiment ing for all platforms and channels.
Manages Kings Island’s website and mobile app content strategy by generating original content, leveraging existing content, and / or partnering with agencies and corporate teams for content while incorporating SEO best practices.
Develops digital content for all major attendance driving programs (including new products, consumer events, promotions, pricing, season passes, etc.
as well as keeping ongoing content up to date and fresh (including park hours, entertainment schedules, ride closures, etc.
Acts as liaison to the broader organization (marketing, sales, foods, merchandise, rides) by attending meetings and establishing ongoing communication to ensure all content is as relevant as possible.

Stays abreast of current trends and evaluates growth opportunities for the company websites and social properties.

Qualifications :
SEO / SEM and e-commerce experience a plus.
