SUMMARY

KING is seeking an Accounting Clerk who will be responsible for performing all accounting-related tasks and assisting management with accounting-related needs. The Accounting Clerk performs clerical functions such as recording and processing business transactions, reconciling accounts, invoicing customers, calling on past due accounts, and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounts Receivable

• Prepare and send daily customer invoicing
• Receive and apply customer payments
• Customer collections activity
• Create and apply customer credits when necessary

Accounts Payable

• Match PO receipts and costs to vendor billings
• Enter non-PO vendor bills
• Process company credit card and expense reports activity
• Process weekly vendor payments (ACHs, Wires, Cut Checks)
• Manage vendor inquiries

Administrative Support

• Maintain good customer and vendor relationships
• Daily metrics, cash management, and reporting
• Monitor all accounting correspondence
• File monthly sales and use taxes
• Assist with month-end and year-end procedures and reconciliations
• Perform other tasks and projects as needed or requested

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor or Associates degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Outstanding communication skills
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products
• Strong understanding of accounting principals
• QuickBooks/NetSuite experience preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Continuous use of hands and fingers to type.
• Able to work at a workstation on a computer for long periods of time
