Kinder Prep Montessori Nursery & Preschool Hiring for Education Director Job at Brooklyn, NY Full Time

Kinder Prep Nursery and Preschool is seeking an Education Director for our growing Williamsburg Brooklyn Location. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, is an excellent communicator, and can work great and lead our amazing staff. Education Director will work with additional office staff, such as Assistant Director, and parent coordinator, to make sure the daycare always runs smoothly. The responsibilities include but are not limited to overseeing all daily daycare operations, including teacher staffing, quality assurance, implementation of our curriculum, monthly newsletters, daily communication with teachers and parents, monitoring enrollment, and conducting tours, DOH licensing, and more. You will develop strong relationships with our families, have a professional and positive and upbeat attitude, while working in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must have effective organizational skills, time management, and multitasking skills. Most importantly Director joining our team must have a deep love for children and a strong commitment to education.

Requirements: Master’s degree preferred, minimum BA/BS, in Education and 2-3 years of experience as a director of a preschool.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing all preschool operations including human resources, quality assurance, and facility operations.
• Develop strong relationships with our families.
• Manage licensing and credentialing
• Positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
• Highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
• Deep love for children and strong leadership skills

Requirements:

• New York State Teaching Certification
• Master’s Degree preferred,minimum BA.BS Degree in Early Childhood Education
• 2-3 years of experience as a director of a pre-school with at least 60 students
• Knowledgeable of Article 47 andother NYC Department of Health licensing/credentialing issues
• Strong computer, verbal and written communication skills

License/Certification: NYS Teaching License (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
