KinCare Hiring for Financial Controller (6 month contract) Job at Bella Vista Full Time

About the role:

Your role will be to deliver strategic outcomes for the Finance team and ensure KinCare is able to adapt to the ever-changing regulatory and government
funding model. The main areas to oversee during the term of this contract include the preparation of the income tax return and related income tax position papers as they relate to financial reporting.

You will also work closely with legal and tax advisors on a range of treasury functions. We also have lots of exciting projects on the go and so we are looking for a seasoned finance professional to support project delivery and provide day-to-day support for the team already in place.

Our office is based at Bella Vista and we can offer a mix of working from home and the office each week. This is a maternity leave replacement role, initially on a 6-month contract.

About you:

• Advanced communication skills and strong ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong ability to demonstrate outcomes and drive business decisions
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and strong organisational skills.
• A “hands-on” approach, diligence, and strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage analytical skills in drawing facts, keen to drive continuous improvement and effectively problem solve.
• Proficiency across all major accounting standards.
• Ability to meet deadlines and strong organisational skills.
• Advanced computer skills (Microsoft/Google).
• A passion for community work (any previous experience with government-funded programs would be great but not essential).
