The Global Procurement Organization is driving a transformation agenda, driving increased levels of collaboration and a more strategic global approach to category management, enabling simplification, and standardization of procurement categories and processes.
The Global Vendor Management Lead will be accountable for the enhancement and oversight of Global PSIM’s vendor management strategy to further mitigate risk, improve operational performance, and deliver savings and working capital on $250M+ of tail spend.
The Procurement Global Vendor Management Lead:
• Serve as the primary liaison and process owner for vendor management processes which include supplier onboarding, “Procurement 101” (stakeholder education), request for solution/sow support tools, and supplier performance management tools.
• Implement change, reach decisions, and resolve issues, where required in support of ongoing vendor management processes
• Establish policies, procedures, and best practices for enforcement of vendor management standards
• Work closely with IT, Professional Services, and Marketing Procurement Directors, recommending and developing repeatable and consistent processes to ensure metrics, processes and procedures are in place and executed to measure vendor performance and ensure optimum vendor sourcing, service, quality and pricing.

Responsibilities
Performance/Financial Delivery
o Leads to Global PSIM Tail Spend Management strategy by developing key approaches and an action plan to minimize risk and maximize value in tail spend categories.
o Leads the Global Service Spend Enablement & Demand Management strategy by implementing a request for solutions process and providing reporting to drive effective use of key spend areas through better visibility, transparency, and stakeholder alignment.
Process/Continuous Improvement
o Owns the end to end vendor management process for Global PSIM procurement which includes vendor sourcing tools, contracting, supplier set-up, performance management on behalf of the Global Procurement PSIM team.
o Owns the “Request for Solution” tool which is a process for Global PSIM procurement that streamlines services sourcing and “Procurement 101” education with key global and regional stakeholders.
o Global PSIM Superuser and professional for key internal tools which include the ETQ contract management system and our external supplier performance system.
People/Stakeholder Engagement
o Partner and liaison with K-C’s Global Business Services Team, Information Technology Vendor Management Team, and Marketing Operations team.
o Partner and liaison to Global Procurement’s COE team which includes compliance, supplier risk, and supplier relationship management.
Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree preferred
o Minimum of3 -5 years of experience in Procurement, Procure to Pay, or other Vendor Management related functions
o Exceptional customer service, process management and problem-solving skills
o Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively and concisely to all levels of the organization
o Keen attention to detail with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
o Excellent PC skills, including MS Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook)
o Enthusiasm for creating and sustaining exceptional relationships with internal and external partners
