Kier Group Hiring for Senior Finance Manager Job at Manchester, England Full Time

We are now recruiting for a Senior Finance Manager to join our Highways Major Projects team in Salford. The position sits within the Highways Finance Function, reporting to the Finance Director for Highways Major Projects and is responsible for the entire RDP portfolio with Management accountants holding responsibility at a project level. An important part of the role will be building a strong network around the project so that you are the go-to person for the Major Projects business unit. Location: Salford – remote working available, with travel to the office

Contract: Permanent, Fulltime

Salary: £50k – £60k

Responsibilities

As a Senior Finance Manager is responsible for business partnering with several operational leads to manage to budgets, achieve cost savings and provide insightful reporting to Senior Management.

Your day to day will include:

• consolidation of monthly profit and loss account, balance sheet and cash flow for the contract(s)
• Provide insightful reporting to management to allow decisions to be made and areas of concern to be identified
• Work with the Senior Leadership Team to drive contract performance improvement.

Who are we looking for?

This role of Senior Finance Manage is great for you if you are a:

• Qualified Accountant
• Have experience as a contract Finance Manager, ready for the next step in your career by overseeing a portfolio of projects
• Able to leverage off strong management accounting skills and relationships with departmental heads to deliver meaningful cost reduction.
