Kids Play Garden Hiring for Lead Preschool Teacher Full Time

Kids Garden (www.kidsplaygarden.com) is an eco-friendly creative arts learning center. We are seeking a qualified, energetic Lead Preschool Teacher to be part of our expanding Preschool Team. You would work directly with our other Lead Teacher, Preschool Teacher Aide and Director. We are looking for an individual to bring fun and learning to children ages 2.5 yrs to 12 years old. Our center is very active and full of creativity. We encourage children to learn through play as well as structured classes and activities including kids yoga, painting, Lego learning, motivational movement, recycled building and more. You would be responsible for teaching our already developed curriculum.

During the school year we have a thriving preschool program as well as afternoon enrichment classes and drop-in learners. Each summer we offer camps weekly with a variety of themes and crafts. We are also open on Saturdays and offer Parent’s Night Out! Teachers must be, or willing to become CPR certified, pass a background check, and have experience working with children or a strong desire to learn best practices in doing so. We have a diversified staff bringing all areas of expertise, and look for individuals that have flexibility, enjoy teamwork, multitasking, entertaining and inspiring children, communicating with parents, exploring areas of art, working with an energetic and outgoing staff, creating activities, and most importantly — having fun!!!

Desired Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Lead Preschool Teacher
• Comfortable with: Toddler, Preschool, & Grade School ages
• Level 2 Early Childhood Teacher
• First Aid Training, CPR Training or willing to get trained

Job Type: This could be a Full or Part-time Job.

Experience: Childcare: 1 year (Preferred) Working days: Monday – Friday (Flexible 2+ days a week)

Typical start time: 8AM or 8:30 AM Typical end time: 3:30 PM or 5pm
