GA Pre-K LEAD TEACHER – Job Description

• Teach children about core concepts, such as numbers, letters, shapes, and colors.
• Use creative, hands-on methods of learning, such as artistic expression, free play, and storytelling.
• Work accordingly with the school curriculum that addresses early childhood education requirements.
• Must be able to attend mandatory training (in person & online)
• implementing lesson plans, doing assessments on the children
• Track the academic performance of students for signs of progress
• classroom cleanliness and maintenance
• Encourage and monitor social interactions between children.
• Set up the materials and workspaces required for class activities.
• Instilling a sense of respect and discipline, so that children work effectively in a classroom setting.
• Supervise children outside of class time, such as during lunch, out on the playground, or on field trips.
• Ensure that the classroom is clean, safe, and well-organized.
• Communicate with parents to learn more about each child’s life outside the classroom.
• Manage and understand how to use (WSO) Work Sampling Online
• Communicate and meet with parents to discuss the goals and needs of students in their program
• Create s to inform parents about their children’s progress at school.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 – $30.00 per hour
