Kiddie Academy, nationally recognized provider of comprehensive education- based childcare program is looking for a Child Care Director who wants to make a difference in the lives of young children and their families, while effectively and efficiently running all school operations for our Stoughton location. Knowledge of best practices, budget management, and positive team building required.
Responsibilities include oversight of the day-to-day operation of a large-sized center providing quality child-centered educational services for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.

Ideal candidate is a proactive, solution-oriented leader with excellent organizational and communication skills and a proven record of maintaining effective relationships with staff, parents and children. Bachelor’s degree in Early
Childhood Education, Director I and II certification, and minimum 2 years
Director’s experience in operating large child care center. Competitive Salary.

Job Responsibility:

Overseeing a facility to ensure that children have a safe and fun environment to learn and socialize with others.

Manage staff by planning work schedule, evaluating staff performance, and developing performance improvement plans.

Ensuring the school is operating in accordance with company and state licensing standards.

Recruit, select and retain quality staff

Create/ Maintain partnerships with families and staffs

Maintaining positive personal interaction and vigilance in oversight of fiscal/business management

Requirements:

2 years Director’s experience in operating Large Child Care Center.

Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.

Director I and II certified.

CPR and First Aid certified.

Need to be familiar with knowledge of Microsoft software program.

Knowledge of the NAEYC accreditation standard and process is a plus.
