Staffing Coordinator Responsibilities and Duties

Our Staff Coordinator would be working 30 hours per week in the office, and 10 hours per week in the classrooms as a float teacher.

• Create monthly work schedule for the program
• Create weekly and daily corrections for the schedule to ensure proper classroom coverage as teacher are on PTO
• Approve or deny PTO requested as the organization can allow
• Coordinate and schedule conference prep time for teachers, and schedule and create conference sign-up’s for bi-annual parent/teacher conferences
• Coordinate and facilitate classroom team meetings
• Help plan and implement fun and interesting educational activities using the Creative Curriculum.
• Love working with children and watching the grow and develop
• Help with the routines of diaper changing, meal times, sensory activities, literacy activities, math and science experiences etc…
• Attend monthly evening staff meetings and other trainings as determined
• Develop relationships with parents and co-workers through open communication.
• Create a warm and nurturing environment for the children.
• Attend parent and community building events throughout the year
• Interact with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.

Teacher Qualifications and Skills

• Associates Degree or higher (preferably in Early Education)
• 2 years of experience preferred
• Responsible

Hours for the position would be 8:30-5:30 Monday – Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
