Due to the continued growth of the business, Keystone Lintels Cookstown is appointing a Structural Engineer to strengthen their existing Engineering team and Structural Steel Solutions division. At Keystone we design, manufacture and deliver bespoke structural steel frames.
The appointed candidate will be a commercial minded structural engineer with experience in the sector. Working alongside our experienced Construction Engineers and CAD detailers, you will be responsible for developing structural steel solutions for GRAND DESIGN type homes & Award Winning Multi-Storey Projects. You will support the delivery of commercial objectives in a national and international context and achieving ambitious growth targets for the division. You will have the opportunity to travel to projects all over the UK and Ireland and across our three UK technical offices. You will have a varied routine between our office, our manufacturing facility, working from home and time on-site. You will help deliver some of the most prestigious and finest buildings the UK and Ireland have to offer.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
– To support the technical team with their structural design capabilities
– Demonstrate strong customer focus, providing timely and competitive effective high end structural solutions
– You will have a strong commercial awareness and thrive in this environment
– Provide innovative design solutions
– You will support internal safety design requirements
– Manage and oversee any structural complaints
– Work collaboratively with various stakeholders such as; surveyors, fabricators etc in order to deliver high end solutions.
This is a senior position were you will play an active part collaborating with our technical team, implementing innovative and effective solutions which improve our design and detailing services overall.
Key Criteria:
· Qualified Structural Engineer, with 5 years’ experience of structural steel detailing or Qualified Civil Engineer with relevant structural experience.
· Commercially minded with an understanding of fast paced working.
· Excellent communicator who works collaboratively with key stakeholders.
