Person Specific Information; The clients we support are students, who are on their academic journey at their chosen University. You will work in partnership with a team of likeminded support workers to help the person live and be safe in their local community, halls of residence, as well as assisting them day to day with their academic requirements.

We provide bespoke care packages, specific to the condition the student has, therefore support you deliver will include aspects of both Academic and Specialist Support.

• Academic support includes tasks associated to; Manual Note Taking, Study Assistance, Library Support, Exam Support, Sighted Guide, Typed Up Notes, Practical Support Assistance, Proof Reading etc. includes effective note taking, assisting with research and library tasks.
• Specialist support may include assistance with aspects of personal care, clinical and medication requirements, promoting their independence wherever possible in their own surroundings, community and ensuring they have safe access to social experiences.
• We have one role to support a male student on his academic journey, he would prefer his support delivery from male staff. Additionally, there are roles to support exam assistance, providing practical support to male and females students with conditions including visual and cognitive impairments.

Essential Criteria; Degree experience (any field), a positive, punctual and committed attitude

Training; Our bespoke Induction Training and Clinical Skills training have been developed by our Training Officers and Registered General Nurses. Training is online lasting 3 days. Dates will be confirmed.

All training is paid at NMW.
