VIRTUAL – ANYWHERE IN THE USA; some preference given to people based around the NYC (New York City) area

Who You Are:

As our Content Manager, you will oversee Recruiter Today, our daily digital publication dedicated to the latest news and insight in HR, recruiting, and talent acquisition. You will be responsible for fielding pitches from contributing writers, getting all contributions into a publication-ready state, writing original content for the publication, and ensuring the smooth operation of the publication on a daily basis.

You have the following education, experience, and expertise:

• Exceptionally strong writing abilities, with a clearly defined editorial style and voice
• Strong organizational and time management skills

• $60k OTE (on track earnings): Comprised of a base salary of $55k + DOE plus additional performance-based incentives.

Day to Day (examples of day to day activities in this role but not limited to):

• Manage relationships with Recruiter.com’s network of contributing writers, including soliciting content, fielding pitches, and seeking out new writers.
• Edit all contributed content to meet publication standards. May include developmental editing, line editing, fact-checking, and more.
• Prepare and schedule all contributed content for publication.
• Maintain a strategic content calendar and ensure a steady flow of content to meet daily publication goals.
• Actively seek out and produce content that is insightful, useful to Recruiter Today’s audience, and up to date with the latest developments in the recruiting and HR industry.
• Work with PR contacts and industry experts to develop and execute new story ideas.
• Regularly write original content for the publication.
• Oversee production and distribution of the weekly Recruiter Today.
• Assist Recruiter.com clients with the development, writing, editing, and publication of content.
• Assist other members of the Recruiter.com team with copywriting and editing tasks on an as-needed basis.
